Parking Options at Auckland Airport

All visitors can find nice and convenient parking facilities at Auckland Airport. The parking areas at the airport is a great location that gives travelers direct access to the two airport terminals within a short time. The convenient location can help you save time before your next flight, or if you are going to pick up a passenger.

At Auckland Airport, passengers have several parking options to choose from. You can find both economy parking, standard parking, executive parking, and valet parking at the airport.

Economy Parking

Economy Parking is available at both the international and domestic terminals at Auckland Airport. This is the best option for travelers wanting the convenience of parking at the airport at a reasonable price. All the parking parks are secured and there are frequent shuttle buses to and from the terminals.

The economy parking spaces can be found at Park & Ride, Park & Ride Express, as well as Car Park E, L and K.

Park & Ride is the official Auckland Airport parking. Here you will find onsite assistance and 24-hour access. There will be a free bus every 15 mins that can get you to the terminals within 5-10 minutes.

At Park & Ride Express you can park next to reception and get dropped off at the terminal by the free shuttle bus. The bus ride takes between 5-10 minutes to the terminals.

Drop-off and pick-up of passengers at Auckland Airport

All visitors at Auckland Airport can find easily accessible drop-off and pick-up areas. You will find designated areas located on both the international and domestic terminal forecourts for immediate pick-up and drop off only. The airport offers a nice selection of services for dropping off and picking up passengers.

Drop & Ride

This is a fast and easy way to drop off any family members or friends before their trip. Drop & Ride is a designated area at Park & Ride where you can drop off any travelers. From this spot, the travelers can then get on a Park & Ride bus to the domestic and international terminals, where they will be within a few minutes. Find more information here.

The Wait Zone

The best way to pick up travelers at the domestic and international terminal is by using the Wait Zone at the airport. The zone is located just minutes from both terminals. There are over 45 parking spaces available where you can wait for up to 30 minutes, free of charge. Find more information here.

Pick up and drop off locations at the international terminal

All visitors can find a designated public area located in the middle forecourt lane for immediate pick-up and drop-off only at Auckland Airport. Please look for the signs as you enter the international forecourt. If you are waiting for any passengers, please use the Wait Zone mentioned above.

Pick up and drop off locations at the domestic terminal

In addition, all travelers will find a designated area located on the domestic terminal forecourt for immediate pick-up and drop off only. Please look for the two colored areas (the blue zone and red zone). This should make it easier for the passenger and the person picking them up to locate each other.
