When renting a car from Budget at Auckland Airport, all renters must be at least 21 years old. A Young Driver Surcharge may apply for drivers under 25 years of age.

All additional drivers must meet the same minimum age and driver’s license requirements as the renter. Each additional driver may be charged a daily fee. For additional drivers between the ages of 21 and 25 years, a Young Driver Surcharge will also apply.
